In Memory Of Rylan

Every fall is a chance to rise.

Rylan had those words tattooed on his arm. He was 18, always on the limiter, and had been building his N70 Hilux since before he even had a licence. Just weeks after his 18th birthday, meningococcal meningitis took him.

His dad Tim kept the shed doors open anyway. Now Rylan's mates are in there most nights, working on their trucks, asking life questions and looking out for each other. You know what a shed like that can do for a young bloke. Pull on the GOLDY Tee and you're backing it.

100% of profits go to the shed. First up is a hoist, so the boys can get off the jacks and do the job safely. After that, it's the tools, gear and consumables they need.

The Film

For Rylan: A Dad, A Hilux And The Road To The Cape

Rylan's story, the Hilux and the shed his dad has kept open for the boys.

The Story

Why GOLDY Exists

Rylan

Rylan had been working on his N70 Hilux since before he had a licence. He had a long list of upgrades and one trip in his sights: the Cape.

Just weeks after his 18th birthday, he passed away from meningococcal meningitis.

The Hilux

His dad Tim is finishing the Hilux the way Rylan wanted it.

The plan is to take it to the Cape with the boys and lay Rylan's ashes to rest in the place he dreamed of reaching.

The Shed

Tim kept the shed doors open for Rylan's mates. Now there's someone there most nights, working on a truck, asking questions or having a yarn.

It's a place to learn, help each other out and have someone to talk to.

Where The Money Goes

Help Put A Hoist In The Shed

The boys are doing engine swaps, remapping computers and learning from each other. The next step is a hoist so they can get underneath their trucks and work safely.

Every GOLDY purchase helps equip the shed and keep those nights going.

100% of profits from GOLDY merch go to the shed. First up: a hoist. After that, the tools, gear and consumables the boys need.
