The BA Shout
Every Aussie knows what a shout is. Your mate's short this round, so you've got him. No fuss, no lecture, no paying it back.
The BA Shout is that, done at the scale of Blokes Advice. When we get wind of a bloke in a sticky situation, we do our best to reach into our own pocket and sort the thing right in front of him: a tank of fuel, a grocery run, a kid's birthday present, the drive to a funeral he couldn't afford to make.
No applications. No committees. No big cheques to huge organisations. Just the right help at the right time, because sometimes fifty bucks today does more than ten grand ever could.. and when a club raffle or community event needs backing, we shout the gear too.
It's all funded the same way: the gear. Every order helps pay for the next shout.
