Who are we?

In Australia, 50 per cent of all men will experience mental health problems at some point in their lives, with three out of every four suicides being blokes. Whilst there are many factors, the stigma between gender roles and mental health pressure men to “man-up” and they are far less likely than women to ask for support... and in a digital world where communication is at our fingertips, this is simply not okay.

Blokes Advice is an amazing platform that started in 2016 as a way to connect average blokes. While professional services should never be underrated, sometimes blokes just need a yarn with another typical bloke, and with hundreds of thousands of members in BA, you’ll find you are not alone in your situation.

Think of Blokes Advice as your digital shed - a place to talk to mates you didn’t know you had about all the blokey stuff. Banter and shit talk encourages communication, and that’s what we are all about.
