Patches for Vests, Jackets, Bags and More

Some gear does the job. Some gear says something about the bloke wearing it. Blokes Advice iron-on patches put a bit of attitude on the gear you already own, whether that is a moto vest, denim jacket, backpack, work bag or something else that needs a lift.

Each patch design comes in one size, with the exact height and width listed on its product page. The heat-activated backing works best on sturdy, heat-safe materials such as denim and cotton canvas. For leather, nylon, waterproof coatings and other heat-sensitive gear, skip the iron and stitch the patch on instead.

If you are looking for motorcycle vest patches, biker patches or iron-on patches in Australia that are easy to apply and hard to ignore, start with the range below. Building out the rest of the kit? Have a look at our men's graphic tees and headwear too.

How to Apply an Iron-On Patch

Check the care label before you start. If the material can safely handle a hot, dry iron, lay it flat on a firm, heat-safe surface and smooth out any wrinkles.

  1. Place the patch where you want it with the adhesive side facing down.
  2. Cover it with baking paper or a thin cotton cloth and turn the steam off.
  3. Press firmly for 20 to 30 seconds without sliding the iron around.
  4. If you can safely reach the back of the fabric, turn the item over and press the same spot for another 20 to 30 seconds.
  5. Let it cool completely, then check the edges. If one lifts, cover it and press again.

For moto gear, frequently washed items or anything that cops plenty of flex, stitch around the edge as well. It takes a little longer, but it gives the patch the toughest and longest-lasting hold.

Patches With Blokes Advice Attitude

A patch might be a small bit of gear, but it can still say plenty. The range carries the same straight-talking Australian attitude as the rest of Blokes Advice, with designs made to get a laugh, start a conversation or let the people behind you know exactly where you stand.

Put one on a riding vest. Give an old jacket another run. Mark your gear bag so nobody walks off with it by mistake. Mix a few together and make the whole thing your own. There is no right layout and no uniform to follow.

Every Blokes Advice order also helps support men's health and the community behind the brand. If you want to see what the boys are backing right now, head to the Most Popular collection, or pair your patches with a tee and a trucker cap.
