More Than the Gear
The Blokes Advice private group has been running since 2016. More than 325,000 men and over a million comments a year, on everything from a broken-down ute to a broken marriage. Any bloke can join, and it's free. One more place to turn alongside your mates and the professional support on our Get Help page.
Ten years on, hundreds of men have credited it as life-changing. Some say life-saving. But a group that size can't keep its own lights on. The gear is what keeps it alive.
A community this size comes with a big voice, and we use it. Over the years we've helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for charities, and just as much for families going through horrific circumstances.
That money comes from the community rallying, not t-shirt sales, but none of it happens without the platform the store keeps alive. Sometimes the best thing we can give a cause is 325,000 blokes paying attention.
New in 2026, the BA Shout is the most grassroots thing we do: reaching into our own pockets to help a bloke right now. A tank of fuel. A feed. A grocery run. The small shout that gets someone through to next week.
You don't need $10,000 to make a difference. Sometimes the right fifty bucks at the right time does more. We also donate gear to raffles, clubs, and community events. That comes out of our pocket too.

Over the past decade the community has helped raise serious money for bushfire relief, supported families through the worst days of their lives, and backed crowdfunding efforts for people going through horrific circumstances. We’ve hosted dozens of events across most of Australia, and the conversation has clocked over a billion views along the way.
