Australia's best belts: According to blokes

Australia's best belts: According to blokes

If you're like us, Covid might have meant a few extra Kgs that have you on the last hole of your trusty favourite belt. You could hit the gym, but food & beers are pretty good too, so until you get in shape it might be time to invest in a new one.

BA Member, Troy, took to the group asking for a bit of advice:

"Hey blokes, I’m in need of a new belt. My arse has gotten too big and my old faithful can’t possibly take another hole in it. It’s served me well for almost 20 years but now it’s time to retire until I lose weight."

& of course the blokes delivered, so here are the top 6 recommendations for the best belts in Australia:

Without too much surprise, the classic RM Williams was a fan favourite. Simple, well-made, and by all reports will last you a life time. They come in a bunch of colours and styles so theres something for everyone.

Quite a few people mentioned buckles getting in the way of their guts, especially when you're on the tools. The Tradies Gear Belt is an Aussie owned elastic style belt with no buckle designs to easily fit under a tool belt.

Thomas Cook is another Aussie brand who mixes country & urban influences. The company has been going for almost 100 years so we'd bet they know what they're doing.

Looking for something a bit special? The crew at Crim Wear Co make full custom belts. They aren't cheap, but there's not a lot like it. Father Day pressie maybe?

They literally call this one 'The Unbreakable Belt'. Anvil Hide make some top quality gear backed with a 7-year warranty & the reviews have a lot of 'best belt I've ever had'. Not the cheapest on the list though!

Outside of these brands, there were many suggestions to head down to your local markets or saddlery and grab yourself something quality from a small time business. We're all about supporting local, so go have a look and see wat you can find.

Blokes Advice has no affiliation with any brands on this list, we are just reporting what the blokes said in our private Facebook group. Be sure to join for a daily laugh, great tips, and a support network of legends.
