10 Red Flags Men Need To Look For

10 Red Flags Men Need To Look For

It's a new year, are you feeling reading to dive into the dating world and giving it a fresh crack to find yourself a serious partner? Well, download Hinge and get cracking, but watch out for these 10 red flags that can turn your quest for settling down into nothing but an ever lasting headache...

Entitlement

Meet the Queen of She Needs. If she acts like the world owes her a favour and you've been lucky enough to be chosen as the guy to fulfil it, chances are you'll be banging your head trying to figure out why all that effort is never enough.

Indecisiveness

It's not an uncommon that ladies can't decide between Italian or sushi so this isn't a deal breaker right off the bat, but if she's unable to make a decision and commit consistently on any topic, its not a great sign. A little decisiveness goes a long way in love and life.

Emotional Unhealthiness

If she's more rollercoaster than steady train, buckle up or better yet, get off the ride. Emotional stability is sexy; emotional whiplash, not so much. As we get older, we all have some baggage, but you're looking for a women with some self-awareness and control.

A Lack of Intentionality

If you are entering this dating world with a clear view of finding a partner to share your life with, you're going to need someone on the same page. Dating someone without any plan is like going on a road trip without a map. Sure, getting lost can be fun, but only if you eventually find a cool destination, not a dead end.

A Victim Mentality

If everything is always someone else's fault, beware. At some point in the near future, you are likely to be the villain in her never-ending drama series.

Laziness

If her favourite activity is planning how to do nothing all day, every day, you might want to jog on. Having your own passions and a bit of drive to do them is going to be important as both individuals and a couple, so don't get held down by someone not going where you're heading.

Chaos and Drama

You're looking for a partner, not a plot twist. Some people, both blokes & ladies, are living for the drama. If you can see that, and it's not your idea of a good time, it might be time to look elsewhere.

Dishonesty

Little white lies can turn into big red flags. If she can't be honest about the small stuff, what about the big leagues?

Life Stagnation

What are you looking for? If it's someone to build your idea of a future life with, then you need a go-getter who wants the same. If she's happy where she is and doesn't share your drive, you don't want the one to be pulling an anchor uphill.

Toxic Communication Habits or Violent Tendencies

It doesn't matter if you're a man or women, there's some bad apples in the world. Even if it's not your fault, there are always two people in a toxic relationship and you don't want to end up in that position. If you're seeing signs of mental or physical abuse, or you don't like the person she is bringing out of you, get the hell out and find someone right.

Now before we call it wraps on this one, if you are truely ready to take this dating situation seriously read through this list and see how each point can relate to you. Be honest and accountable, and find some areas you think you can improve your game on to be a better potential match for the quality girl you're trying to find.

Dating's supposed to be fun, not a survival course. Keep an eye out for these flags, and you might just find someone who’s more fireworks than warning flares. Happy dating!
