Swifty 2.0: Jack Mills and the 700HP V8 Suzuki Swift

The Return of the World's Toughest Swift

If you've been around the Blokes Advice community for a while, you probably remember Jack Mills and his absolute weapon of a build… SWIFTY. It started as a $500 Facebook Marketplace special that Jack, an auto sparkie by trade (and taxi driver on the side to fund his habit), decided to turn into the world's toughest Suzuki Swift.

Back then, he dropped an LS & Glide combo out of his VS skid ute into the Swift, chopped the firewall in half, and built a custom tunnel just to make the driveshaft fit. It was pushing 400HP and turning heads everywhere it went. Jack built it because he "likes to party" and wanted something that would get a giggle.

The giggles have turned into jaws hitting the floor… we thought it was high time to update you lot on whats been happening.

What's New Under the Hood?

Jack told us that 400HP was only "for now," and he wasn't kidding. Here's what's changed since we last checked in:

  • Serious Power: Swifty is now running a 427 Dart block.
  • Big Numbers: The little Swift is now pushing a massive 700HP to the wheels.
  • New Fuel: He's made the switch and is now running the beast on methanol.
  • Thirsty Work: An 80L fuel cell is going into the car right now to keep that new moto fed.

Jack recently took the updated build to Brashernats and Motorex, showing off a brand new livery for the Motorex crowd. The car is running better than ever, and Jack's plan moving forward is simple: hit as many events as he can afford to get himself to. Next on the hit list is Thrashernats down in Wagga.

More Than Just a Burnout Car

While the 700HP Swift is what draws the crowds, it's the bloke behind the wheel that we're really proud to support. Jack has been a long-time supporter of Blokes Advice, and we've been backing him right back. We're stoked to be part of the new graphics on the car, but honestly, we're even more proud of the man Jack is turning into.

Jack time and time again proves he's one of the most genuine, real guys in the scene. When he's at an event, he's got time for everyone. He's known for letting kids sit in Swifty… and if they're lucky, even letting them fire it up. He's even hidden over 50 Pikachus around the car for the kids to treat it like a game of 'Where's Wally'.

Jack is outspoken on the mental health front, openly sharing his own journey and making sure he's there for anyone in the community who needs an ear.

He's also the first bloke to roll up his sleeves when someone else is in trouble. We've seen him stay up all night to help fix other people's cars, and he'll happily hand over his own spare parts just to make sure a mate (or random) can get out on the pad the next day. Working massive weeks as an auto sparkie and driving taxis to fund his own fun, he still finds the time and energy to give back to the scene.

Oh, and he also mentioned he's found himself a new girl.. a "crazy car chick," as he calls her. Happy for you brother!

Catch Swifty in Action

Jack's putting in the hard yards, supported by PowerPlus, DBA Brakes, Littlewoods, Routers, Switch Signs, and 24/7. If you see Swifty at Thrashernats or any other event this year, make sure you go up and say g'day.

Big love to @mint_sauce_photography for the pics
