Our "Oh, woe is me" story for today is about Tasha Paige who apparently thought "net income" meant what you get to spend on whatever these ‘online creator’ girls like to drop their cash on.
She recently dropped a video on her socials revealing she’s up for a $176 000 tax bill.
To be fair, news.com.au & Daily Mail put her on blast as an entitled creator who was having a cry and that’s not really the case. No surprises to have sub-par stories from those news outlets though…
“My tax bill is actually $150,000 for the last 12 months... not including the $26,000 I need to pay on top of that for GST because apparently my body is an object – that’s why I have to pay GST,” Tasha said.
Tasha took to social media explaining the sizeable bill and to be fair, she wasn’t really having a winge about paying the money or the fact she didn’t understand tax was. The video she posted seemed to be leaning towards her money going to a government that doesn’t believe in her values… welcome to the club honey!
Obviously she’s racked up some fat stacks of cash selling adult content this past year to be bent over by the tax man like that, so the lack of support from the public isn’t too surprising.
That said, Tasha recently did some content with our man The Girthmasterr, so she’s in our good books!
