Long time member of Blokes Advice, Brenton Harris, put up a quick post in our group a couple days ago with the hopes a few locals would see it. It was an instant hit with over 15000 likes & close to 2000 comments, it’s safe to say the post went a little bigger than expected.
Open communication, community and mateship for blokes is something Brenton always cared about. As a big rugby fan, the passing of Paul Green back in October hit him hard and reignited the spark. He and his wife had recently bought their own butcher shop, and he wanted to use this platform to do something to help.
For the past 10 weeks, every Friday from 4pm the team at The Original Forest Glen Butchery puts on free beers & a BBQ to get people together for a chat in support of mens health and suicide awareness.
Please take a minute to support a bloke who support blokes - show Brenton’s business some love by leaving a like, comment, or dropping by if you’re local > > The Original Forest Glen Butchery
More recently, Brenton has teamed up with the legends at Grab Life By The Balls, running raffles to raise funds for their efforts in mens health. Beers, meat trays, raffles, and supporting mens health… what’s not to like? Keep up the good work legends and hopefully you’ll see some BA members there soon!
