Blokes Advice might not be the first place you should go for advice on women, but recently we stumbled across on of those female versions of our pages and they were having an interesting chat. The question posed was "What does you man do that turns you on?".
That said, let's break down what some of these lovely ladies had to say (outside of us blokes giving them some peace & quiet)
Mechanical Stuff: Whether you’re building it or fixing it, there is something special about a bloke rolling up his sleeves and doing the jobs she doesn’t want to do. Taking care of business with a tool belt seems to be a pretty universal show of caring that the ladies find arousing. This doesn’t necessarily mean you should fire the tradies and do a complete renovation yourself, but being handy will get you in the good books.
Being kind to kids & the elderly: Empathy is a trait ladies love to see in their man, and caring for those kids, oldies, or the less fortunate is a good show of character. From being the tough, capable bloke who builds stuff, to a sweetheart round the kinds, displays you have the depth she’s wanting in a man.
Housework: It’s always been a classic joke that the sexiest thing a man can do is the dishes, but what it really refers to is showing your willing to out in even more work to take load off her back. Make sure the bins are out, throw the vacuum around, or beat her to do a dump a load in the machine.

Effort & Attentiveness: Much the same as the above, it’s about a display of effort to make her feel she’s worth it. To take it to the next level, just get it done before she asks you to (big revelation we know). Whether it’s a chore, or just asking how her day was before starts telling you, getting ahead of it shows you’re valuing her.
Humour: Ever seen Pete Davidsons’s list of ex-parters? You don’t have a face like that and land those ladies without being able to talk the talk and get a smile.
Being A Top Dad: This should probably be #1 because it rolls up most of the characteristics and actions list into one, and channels it toward her favourite people (that’s the kids, not you).
Emotional Intelligence: Some women think blokes don’t have feelings and therefore lack emotional intelligence. We do, we have deep and complex emotions - but sometimes we aren’t the best at putting them out there. The skill of being able to articulate those feelings to a partner is something a lot of ladies find a little sexy, and it comes with the side benefit of better communication in your relationships.
Owning an AU Falcon: A recent study* showed that picking a women up for a first date in an AU increases the likelihood of her sleeping with you by a whopping 450%.
So there you have it. We're not saying excelling at this doesn't require more than an equal share of the effort, but if the ladies are telling you what they require it's your call on whether you step up. Outside of the hanky panky, this list is a good shortlist of stuff to focus on for an all-round happier and healthier relationship.
*We made this up, but should someone actually do this study we’d expect these results are pretty close.
